The Australian Cobberdog is an emerging breed still being refined under the watchful eyes of its founding breeders and the MDBA. Its distinct genetic makeup sets it apart from Labradoodles. The goal of breeding these dogs is to create intelligent, trainable, and health-conscious companions that are low-shedding and suitable for allergy sufferers. With their exceptional eye contact and gentle nature, they make outstanding candidates for therapy and support roles, eager to be by their families’ sides.
By selectively combining and safeguarding key traits through thorough testing and breeding practices, the results are remarkable!
Our Dog Ori
We are thrilled to introduce our foundational girl, Ori (affectionately known as Miso)! Coming all the way from Morrowland in the Netherlands, she made the trek to Canada as a puppy and has been such a joyful addition to our young family.
Our breeder, Pauline, is committed to ensuring the highest genetic health in her dogs. Ori's health records are clear of hereditary diseases, and we are dedicated to continuing this legacy of health in our future puppies.
For 15 years, Morrowland has been developing a distinctive non-fading, deep red coat unique to the Australian Cobberdog. We are incredibly proud to have been selected to bring this exceptional line to North America.
As we work to expand this breed in Canada, Ori shines wherever we go. Her striking looks and delightful demeanor, even as a young puppy, consistently draw attention and showcase the unique qualities that set her apart.
